FWIW, the fuel feed hole in the injector is vastly smaller than any feed tube or banjo bolt. It makes no difference on the overall pressure whether you run stock or 6.4 banjos.

I dont totally agree with you on this. The holes on the injector it self dont have much to do with the fuel pressure, at least not where we are measuring it. To get good fuel into the injector the fuel pressure has to be above 50psi. The smaller the line or hole the fuel has to go through the more restrictions the system has. IMO the best system would be to run some HP pump and all custom lines and fittings that are of the same inside diameter. That way you are not creating any restriction to the injectors at all.

i feel that if the injectors are using enuff fuel to make the pressure drop that drastically that the small holes in the banjo bolts could act as an orifice. i dont think it has anything to do with the hole size in the injectors. it comes down to how much fuel is being used within the head. only so much fuel can be pushed thru the banjos before u see a pressure loss in the heads. im no expert im jus voicing my opinion and i could be wrong bout this but it jus seems logical
