Could be gps or the relay but how cold are we talking here? Personally I would have cranked on it more. Diesels can't flood the way carburated gas motors do.

Did it throw any codes? All the fuses good?

My 97 would start in the high teens, my new SD started right up in 20s. Having a good glowplug system and strong batteries is a must for these trucks.

well is there anyway that i can test the gp to make sure bf i pull em

first get u a large screw driver or some cheap needle nose piers and put it on both sides of the glow plug relay for 30sec to 2min and then run around and start it or have the gf start it if it fires up its the gpr if it doesnt and still has lots of white smoke then more then likely gp's and to test then pull the plug that sits towards the valley and check there. Use an ohm meter heres a link on how to test it all.

ive had my truck just over a year and have had to replace both gp's and a gpr with only 40,000 maybe 2-3 years after being rebuilt.
also when 5 outta the 8 gp's went out truck wouldnt start in 30-40 weather and the gpr same jsut had to arc it till i got paid to buy a new one.

I can see from reading your posts that it got so dang cold that you forgot how to use any punctuation at all!!! Holy hell dude, I don't care if you're still young! For God sakes, they still teach this stuff don't they?!?!?!

After I had to re-read your post about 3 times in order to understand what the hell you were stating and asking... I'd say it's your glow plug system. Time for new glow plugs, new (better than stock) relay, and be sure to check all electrical connections under valve covers when in there. Welcome to the joys of being a new diesel owner!
