How do you like those gears

Gears are noticeable but don't affect me. It's getting 12.8 to the gallon running 80 for the last 500 miles.

Hush! And I'm working on it but I'm not leaving the state for a while and homie doesn't need to spend the cash.

Was going to ask the same thing. Why'd you go with 4.30's with all that power under the hood and only a trailer with a couple ponies in it behind the truck?

I wanted a 450 for the steering and front end. I'm putting taller tires on it and then it'll be perfect for me. Plus I'm looking at upgrading to an 8 horse slant instead of the two 4 horse slants and the 6 horse slants. Also I can grab the 9 horse of my dads if he ever has issues with his. Truck has plenty of top end still. Pulls all the way to the limiter no problem. And runs 2500 rpm's at 80. Also the turning radius of this compared to my old truck is just stupid.

Cool, sounds like it doesn't scream quiet as bad as I thought it would at 70mph. I want a new dually, if your 15' steers "so much better" than the one you just got rid of, I can only imagine how it compares to an old leaf sprung 4x4's turning radius. LOL

It's the front axle same as the '08-10 450s an all it's awesome for a cclb. My 250 sucked compared to this.

And I know exactly what they turn like on the other end of the farm we hav an '02 7.3 in mint condition. Lol 4x4 lariat. It takes 2 reverses to make the same turn I make in this truck with 8 ft to spare.

And on the interstate as it sits I'm at 2500 rpm at 80 mph. Not too bad IMO.
