I had a set of chrome 20" novicains for a couple months then the chrome started turning black. Had to get them warrantied out and BMF didnt have another set. Thats when i got the 24" BMF SOTA wheels i have now. Hope the chrome lasts...

Were your defective 20's chrome, or the new PVD finish?

Well i gues i dont recall. Chrome I thought? I do know the new 24s are the PVD finish. Looks like chrome to me.. Whats the difference?

Looking at there website BMF shows them all as the PVD....

they changed there chroming process.. all new wheels are PVD.

Depending on how long ago this happened, it could be either. From what Ryan at BMF told me, the PVD is a fairly new process for them, and he claims it holds up alot better than traditional chrome. Reason I ask is I have a brand new set of PVD Novakanes in my garage waiting for tires. Sorry for the derail.

Damn I was gonna try to run this setup with my leveling kit with a block in the back... but that looks likw ita a tight fit with a 4.5" fit... does it rub?
