Where do you place the lift arms to lift the truck? There is no frame showing on the driver's side, it's covered with the fuel tank skid plate.

I forgot to mention that i have a crew cab dually, 8' bed. Don't know of any 2 post lifts that have that much spread for a long wheelbase truck.

The duallys are more of a pain than the srw trucks for some reason. What size lift do you have? I use a 15k and a 12k at work that are 2 different styles, the 15k lifts most of yhe trucks i need to lift. On the 12k with duallys i need to pull the skidplate on yhe ground. I have never tried lifting one on a standard 9k car lift.

I have a symmetrical Bendpak 10k. I've lifted my friend's 7.3 CC DRW a few times with no issues along with my OBS. I use high post jacks to stabilize the truck when it's warranted.
To drop the skidplate, do you take the blue bolts off?

No there should be 1 or 2 nuts on the frame, then 4 bokts on the frame, and 3 bokts on driveshaft side. All are 13mm with a very small integrated washer into the head, it is not a loose wahser, but part of yhe bolt head. All are silver. That lift should work to lift it without pulling tbe skidplate though. I was more talking of the lifts wher both arms swing yhe same way for drive thru, they will not reach, and for some resson the knock off rotary 12k i have at work wont reach either.

I lift 4 door f550 6.7 trucks with a plow on the front and a 5 yard stainless box on the back at work all the time on a 15k hoist the hydro pump screams the whole way up just try different points and get comfortable with where u think u want to lift
