2 sr 30s and dr 20. Thinking of loosing the towhooks and replace dr 20 with a 40. Why are we never satisfied? Lol

Here's how I mounted my sr's in grill. Just made some angle brackets out of sheet metal and bolted that to think plastic behind grill. Lot of Dremel tool work but wasn't you bad. Been holding up good so far and I'm on washboard gravel and dirt roads everyday on farm

Or....stack two SR 40's in the bumper.... a single row puts out close to as many lumens as a DR...so putting two SR's in there would be insanely bright.

I can't verify either one but I do know once you get past so much light it doesn't really matter. The 3 bars I have now are so bright it's crazy! If I upgraded to a 40 it would only be for looks and I like the look of one dr 40 better than two singles I think. Does anybody have pics of 2 single row 40s mounted in bumper??

I thought about doing the fogs just haven't made the move yet. If I did that I would then have to upgrade heads to projects and paint to match. There goes another 3 grand lol..not sure I'm going to do it on this truck. Probably wait till next one

My KD fabworks brackets and 40" curved bar showed up today, all I had time to get was a couple phone pics, but the fit of the brackets is spot on. I still need to aim it and maybe make some small adjustments, to get it dead center in the bumper opening, but it's so close I may not even worry about it.

Has anyone ever cut a slot (dremel tool) in the 4wd valance and mounted a 40" light (or any size for that matter)? I think that would be cool and would alleviate the problem of having to cut out the tow hooks. Plus the light would be lower to the ground and would be able to shoot the light out straight and low where you need it. Idk....just an idea. That 4wd valance is so big, it's perfect for the mod!

What brand light bar did you go with? That curved 40" turned out great. Contours the bumper perfect

That looks wicked! I have a 20" in my bumper and rather impressed with the output; can't imagine how bright a 40" is. The curved fits the bumper so perfectly.
