Do not tuch the gasket... Change the studs one @ a time... If you put new gasket in there they will hold less boost then the old ones... The old ones ar STUCK on by now and are well backed and hardened.. Just do the studs and DO NOT BREAK THE SEAL on the old gaskets... They will hold better then new ones.... There is a reason you have to break a engine in before you hamer on it..

If you take the heads off that engine you have ruined it. If the heads come off, just take it completely apart and have it machined because it's worthless.

That engine has 200,000 miles worth of strength building that goes out the window the second the heads pop off. That exact same engine with brand new gaskets won't hold jack sh*t. Then when it lifts, it will hydro a cylinder and bend the rod, which will let go a few months after you replace the gaskets a second time because you never knew it even happened when those gaskets let go.

The only thing you need to do to that engine is headstuds and some valvesprings..... or.... tear it completely down and build yourself an engine.

Whatever you do, don't ever take apart a high mileage 7.3 that's working fine just to destroy it by putting new head gaskets on it.

If it blows it blows, but it will likely be hundreds of horsepower higher if you leave it be than if you take those heads off.

Okay guys I get it. LOL I won't touch the damn thing. I will put studs in it, valve springs, and push rods and let it eat. And if it blows, it blows! I have a second engine for a reason. Just wanted everyones thoughts on the matter. What is everyones thoughts on turbo, injectors, and HPOP for around 600RWHP? Again I would like to stay around a 2.6 charger.

300/200 Or if you ever want to go over 600 450/200 with all the highe speed mods.. SO if you ever want to go bigger you just have the nozzles changed out..

As for HPOP terminator or stealth duals...

Turbo A T4 mount for shure!!! Is far as what kind with a 2.6 Inducer.....

Holset HX55 with a 66/99 billet comp wheel (66mm is a 2.6" inducer and the 99mm is the exducer..) This turbo, well atleast the one I have is rated for 90+ LBs a minute... it seems to spool kind of lazy till 12 to 14 PSI then hits like a hammer...

Check this one out.....http://www.elitedieselengineering.com/product/41000005/Precision-Turbo-26-x-30-Pulling-Turbo/ Do not forget to look @ the Price tag....

If I think of other 2.6" turbos I will let you know..

ON Edit: these guys might have what you want..http://haisleymachine.com/product_info.php?products_id=2602

Mods if this is out of place please let me know......

I was thinking 300/200 or 350/200with body mods

As for HPOP terminator or stealth duals..

I was thinking terminator or BTS. I really like the BTS setup. Has anyone had experience with it at all?

I had thought about this charger. Also I know it is not a 2.6 charger but I am considering the S468.

All of the 2.6 pulling chargers are nice but they are big money and very often they are not very street friendly.

I will give bean a call. I have already talked to Jake at Irate and Nate at Unlimited and they both said that I should just go with the S468 and not worry about complying with the rules unless I am going to turn it into a full scale pulling truck. I live here in ohio and to be in the top ten to get teched around here you better have a 1000RWHP or more. So needless to say I just do it for fun every now and again.

I do not know a thing about the BTS pumps....

I have stealth duals with two IPR valves... seem to work good so far...

As for the HX55 not being a 2.6 charger.. It actauly IS a 2.6" charger... The inducer on the HX55 is 66mm.. When converted over two inches it would be a 2.6" inducer.....

So yed the HX55 would work for the 2.6 class... Holset claims it can move 99LBs of air a minute... So it should be a easy 600+ HP charger.....
