I think it looks damn good the way it is, but if you decide to lower it, do it so you can have the option to go back so you can if you have to.

I might have to do something similar to my 2000.

Much better then the m-16s. I say leave and and do like tank said. Get some clear 3M vinyl and do your rocker panels.

I can't decide if it looks like a high schooler's truck or like a central cali truck...

But for real, looks good. I'd leave it as is for now. When you get bored lower it some.
