alright guys, im in the process of starting a full motor build. who would you all recommend for this? going to need machine work and possibly full engine build.

I think Carson Stauffer might be closest to you then. He does great work from what I hear and see, never really heard anything bad come out of his shop.

yeah ive been keeping an eye on what he has produced. ive cotacted a few people but carson is only 2:30 hours from me so we'll see what he has to say.

Yea personally I would go with someone closer that's reputable vs dealing with shipping and the hassle of distance if any problem should arise.

i totally get it. just wanted to here what everyone had to say. id like to stay local my self but would travel/ship to have it done correctly and not get ripped off price wise. i know this is an extensive build and will cost a few pennies but its not an over night ordeal.

i contacted carson but haven't heard anything yet so we'll see what he has to say.

I've been to carsons shop and spoke with him, cool guy, down to earth. Looked busy when I was there too. When I eventually get to the point of getting a built motor done, I'll be calling him up again. Also watched his 7.3 pull a few years ago and that was quite exciting as well. Definitely give his shop a call when you're ready.

Thanks guys. I was watching in on isootmypants's build and loved every aspect of it. With that build I was pretty sold with Carson.

How do you always leave yourself open for such easy ways for people to talk chit on you lol. So many messed up comments popped in my head at once after reading that.
