I've got Bushwacker Street Flares on my truck. If paint matched correctly, which is easily done with black, you can hardly notice them, which I wanted. They're only about a 1/2" of flare, which was ideal for my need.

A few pics of the flares:

I had OE style flares on my 08 several years back. When I took them off the flares had taken my paint down to bare metal. And that was with the rubber trim around them.

Well, I accidentally voted for OE style, so if somebody could switch my vote, that would be great. Unless you have large, aggressive tires that stick way out, I like the minimalist approach. Even still, I'm not a fan of flares hanging past the tires. In my perfect world, only the bulge in the sidewall would hang past the outer-most part of the flare.

OE style here. Just took them off to refinish underneath after 5 years, there was some rust that needed to be dealt with on the bed.

OE style is my vote and I agree with Wayne, unless u are going up with big lift I prefer the wheels under truck with OE flares. That's my 2 cents.
