Onequickstock6.0 Has our 66/74 kit with 285's and has no issue towing his 25ft boat around. Egts are good and smoke is to a minimum. There is another member on here towing 12k with his s364 kit also
Morgan, didn't you like the 64mm bullseye turbo on your truck (until the turbine grenaded) or was it still real laggy?? I take it the garrett 4088r didn't do so well either for spooling, even with the roller bearings?? The PT6466 definitely looks like it has some promising potential but I dont know. I would be curious how it would work because I think you can get those in a ceramic ball bearing configuration as well if I am not mistaken.

could be the manifolds helping out a bunch on that though... my 71 wheel on my bullseye definitely wouldn't have been able to pull a boat around without clearing out an intersection
Im sure the manifolds help some, but Im pretty sure Shawn is the owner of the setup Mike is talking about and its a 64/68/83. The smaller t4 housing and divided up pipes make a world of a difference. You loose so much exhaust velocity with the stock collector and flange adapter, its like trying to breathe while swallowing a piece of un-chewed steak.

The bullseye had decent spool up, BP numbers were surprisingly well with the .70a/r (46 boost to 54 bp), but my powermax was still more fun because of spool up. The 4088r is for a gasser or a duramax/dodge setup. It seems to me that I need the exhaust velocity of 6000 rpms for it to pull right, exh side is WAY too big. Spool up has become a big factor for me in judging chargers.
What I think may work is a GTX3582R dual ball bearing with the 64 comp wheel for 205s would be a good setup, and maybe the PT6466, although I am not sure on the reliability, and neither is Precision when it comes to running it on a diesel lol. However, I'm tired of buying singles and compromising flow or spool up so I am in the process of compounds, and I don't want to guinea pig setups anymore.
