loss of fuel pressure

Driving my 6.4 the other day and the dash daq kept beeping at me showing loss of fuel pressure. It would drop to 0 and truck would surge then pressure goes back up and runs fine. Did it a few times on a 3 hour trip and had no codes. Any ideas?

What do you have for a low pressure pump?

I would put a gauge on the low pressure side just to see if the low pressure pump is dying
