ok so i have a 97 f250 that iv finally got the motor how i want, so next is a complete rebuild of the body. my plan is remove and fix the bed, rip out all the interior, new floor pans, carpet, headliner, everything. i also am doing a dana 60 swap and here is where my questions start. i have a dana 60 out of an f450 and i doing a rsk. whats the most complete kit to use, i want to get like 5 to 6 inches of lift out of it and im also putting super duty x code springs so my thinking is with a 2.5 inch rsk kit and the springs i will get the lift i want. what else do i need to do the swap. i also plan on putting a 6inch spring hanger lift in the rear, has anyone used one of these, and should i just put my old rear springs on or should i look for something different. thanks for the help everyone

Should the one in the pick be an issue putting in my truck, and I'm not familiar with the different brakes. Are those the same as my 97

Yes and no.
They should be different in that they use the older slide pin setup to hold the caliper on vs your style with the bolt.
I've seen conflicting info on if it can be swapped.

Brake Pads are not interchangeable and are smaller if I remember right. I never feel like it braked as well as the 97 brakes.

I think I missed to 2wd to 4wd part.
I thought you just had a older d60 to replace a current d60.
The brake swap I'm thinking of you swap the d60 knuckle.

Can't really do that here. Lol
