Right I'm sure the pillars and it being cast added a lot of strength. And it really shows how much stress it goes through over time because Robs welding skills are top notch. I'm sure he will think of something clever to reinforce it. I'm just praying a turbo didn't let go or I didn't overspeed the low pressure when that manifold opened up.

I would make the tops with 1/8 5051 and break it all it one piece and weld it to the top of the factory manifold anywhere you have a weld like that holding 2 pieces together has to be reinforced...spearco learned that the hard way on there first design of 6.0 intercooler a few years ago

Haha I'll keep that in mind. I've had thoughts about it, and if I did what I would get into next. I've been looking at 3 things. A 2015 wrx sti, a diesel Colorado when they come out, to make a sweet manual utilitarian style vehicle, been wanting to have something like that since I saw an old diesel ranger on here for sale....or a 6.7.

So the truck will be done tomorrow most likely. He used 1/4 think aluminum, 3" box, so it's one piece, like you mentioned Craig. Seems pretty stout. Ordered my tires today to be put on the BMF REPRS that I bought from GRacing back in the spring. Great guy to order from, the wheels came in within days of placing the order with him, and just this week he sent me out a set of lug nuts free of charge!! Couldn't ask for better service!!

Also have a question, In the picture Im going to post below. Are these mirror caps? And if so, are they removable to be painted? The clear is pealing pretty bad and they will need to be sprayed this winter when the truck is put away.

Tilt the mirror glass all the way down and you will see two clips. I used to small flat head screw drivers so I wouldn't have to go back forth between the two clips. Pop the clips and pull the mirror cap.

Any fix to it? Going to hook another gauge up to the lines we have to rule out the gauge being bad. Basically flutters all the time now. Thinking maybe the bung being close to the gate gate could make it flutter if the gate flutters? Idk
