I know the solinoid is $150 plus the filter, gasket, and fluid $?. and I am do for an oil change also this week $85 at ford.I have a little under 80K on this truck and overall its been better than my previous 04 f250 6.0 and my 06 f350 6.0. well just needed to vent a little. ( all I can afford to do this week) lol. Any advice on the tranny service and solinoid install? THANKS, Will

Nice! Its kinda funny and sad at the same time, its things like the fuel filters that kinda justify getting a fuel bowl delete and a lift pump.

I would love to have a stage 2 or three 3 tranny and upgraded TC, and the studs would be nice if I could afford it I would do them both.I will need new shocks soon and will also turn the front rotors and put new pads on the front then. None of my brakes were worn out about 1/2 pad left just had the viberation that gets on my nerves.

Tell me about.

Just spent 600+ for pads and rotors all the way around. Over a hundred for fuel and oil filters. Then another 100 to fill the thirst girl up!

On the plus side I am getting 20+ mpg on highway:)

Let me know how the trans goes. Interested in do the same thing.

Problem with an aftermarket lift pump is that no pump is more reliable than the stocker.

As for the solenoid swap. Make sure you leave the drain open for a couple hours so that all the fluid in the pan isn't dripping all over your face. The solenoid itself is very easy to change and only takes a couple minutes. Be careful when you pop the solenoid out, as some fluid will come out.

I get 20 plus on the highway 18 city and 14.2 towing 8500lb camper with 1500lb golfcart in the bed of the truck. fillups suck but nearly 40 gallons goes a long way.

I hear you buddy put 6k on my truck since I changed the oil and fuel filters just cost me $278 to fill up (60 gal aux tank) and I'm headed back to Lexington KY which I just left this morning. Spent 1500 in fuel alone this week. I feel your pain

I see you live in ocala, I would love to live right on silver springs. I have been 3 times in my life the first when I was 5 years old. the last 2 years ago febuary. We stayed at wilderness rv resort just down from the springs. We rented a pontoon and went up the river. I always wanted to swim in the clear water so I did lol. I think that is the prettiest place I have ever seen. Will
