Idk man. It was pretty damn clean. I'm thinking that the heads and intakes flow a little better than first thought. Let's add some fuel and see what it does

I moved a bunch of posts out of the vgt vs non vgt thread to clean it up and started this one for mike, so just try to keep some of the threads on topic and not run into eachother so much

So a 72/83 set of twins, 95psi boost and 100psi drive pressure netted 870hp. What will it take to make 1000 on fuel? 120psi? 90mm primary?

Garrett

Probably getting paid at work to post this from my D1

Aaron made 940 something with a 95mm primary... dual fuelers, and 150s, (i think they were 150s) but he blew his race truck motor up at the track before he could improve on that...

Mike, what are you running for fuel now? I see 60%, but what does that translate to?

60% are equal to elites 110s, when i see equal i mean closely sized to them
Aarons truck had 200's from elite last i heard, not sure if he switched but thats equal to about 100% over from mpd. Im not sure if aaron has switched injectors or not thou, i just know that aarons drag truck has had 200s in it for a long time.

So this basically proves that they need more fuel and not more air. If they had the same injectors and Aaron had much more air and only made 70 whp more then fuel is what's needed

Its all about a balance, but judging by the smoke from mikes truck he could easily step up to a 85% nozzle or 100% and still be ok.

At some point too much injector will start to put out the fire

Im worried that 150% are going to do that to craigs truck (however i think with a smaller tune it might be fine since he likes how xstreet drives anyway)

I agree with dustin. I think he can step up a little in injector as well, but i doubt that industrial pump will be able to keep up unless he stays with what craig has now or smaller. Dual fuelers on mikes truck will require SERIOUS modification to piping. They'll have to do something different than the dual fuelers set up that is out right now. So I think he should stay with 110's or whatever is in Craig's truck for now.

Sent from my iPhone that is fueled by haters

I.managed to squeeze my dual fuelers in with my turbo using the second alt mount. I did have to change the pipe a little but nothing huge. But Mike's is prob a good bit different

Mike you could prob step up to an 85% injector...

Right on. I know he stepped down to 150s with the old turbo setup at one point. But I dont remember if he went back or not. Safe to assume, that it was either the 150s or 200s.

So, I will be running the same fuel setup as mike, with a smaller turbo setup. Until I want more, and step up to bigger fans.... LOL
