Mile marker hubs feel loose

I have a set of Mile marker hubs on my 99 f250, they work great but the whole hub will wiggle back and forth. All the bolts are tight, I disassembled the hubs today and noticed that the locking part of the hub has a lot of in and out play where the snap ring is at on the outside of the hub. I was thinking if I could slide 2 snap rings in there instead of the one that it would tighten it up and remove the play. Has anyone else ran into this problem with aftermarket locking hubs?

Only problems I had with my mile markers,were the clip on the back of the hubs. The one that holds them together. The grove blew apart. They also had a split ring and a coil spring that held them in place
