kevin,

no need to retune the truck just un plug the sensors, also got the route i did and do a full egr delete and take the whole thing out vs just the block off plates. i started with the block off plates and went a full delete about 4 months ago. The full delete is a better option in my opinion

Ya you can just unplug it. Thats what I did with mine after it was tuned with them plugged in for a few weeks.

Ok thanks man! Oh and you don't happen to have a link to the instructions on which ones to unplug do ya?

I will most likely do the full delete when my warranty get closer to being up, but like I said, I don't want to have to worry about trying to install a bunch of things to take it in for warranty work if needed.

if you do the full delet you'll have better odds of not having warranty issues to start with. im pushing 70k on mine and no issues at all

I dont have a link, because H&S replaced the link on their website with the street tuner booklet.

But, there's a orange plug with a little yellow slide piece over on the passenger side way up high. I think its on top of the coolers, but I'd be lying if I said I was sure thats what those thingymabobbers are.

The next one is almost in the dead center right behind the grille and the fan. It's orange with the yellow slider also, and is hiding under a 4-5'' plastic hose and that weird box thing that is part of the factory intake. I took the bolt out thats holding that box down, then disconnected the hose that goes right above the plug so I could get my hand down there to it. The hose has a c clip that runs all around it that you just pop off and slide back, then pull the hose back till you can push it towards the rear of the engine and get to that plug.

If these vague instructions aren't confidence inspiring LOL I will take some pics of the pages in the H&S manual when I get back home later on.

My buddy ran his with the 2 sensors plugged in still, truck started acting up after a week or so. Wouldn’t hit any boost and we couldn’t even get it started for a while. He put it back to stock took it to the dealer and they said the EGR or part of it was shot and needed replacing, which they did under warranty and said they had never seen this before.

Reason being you do need to unplug the sensors is even though the tuners are disabling the EGR system, the valve(s)/system are still running through their calibration every time you start the motor, so after X times of improper calibration, they completely shut down, then when you go back to stock they are malfunctioning. There is a way to resent them yourself….I read this somewhere so please don’t hold me to it.

Sorry I totally forgot to even take the pics, but here are the few I realized I had already. First one is the page in the H&S manual, second is the plug up on top, 3rd is that hose I was saying needs to come off, and the 4th is that hose that comes off so you can get to that lower plug easier.
