2000 f450 XLT 4x4 6spd manual. Rust free from georgia. Just put a brand new godwin 9ft body, 2ft stahl I pack, 05-07 front end conversion, Alcoa Super 8 lug 19.5s., tons of other work done it was my baby and a fun project but relized i do not have use for it. Chip or anything on it? I assume 4:88 gears? I bet this thing pulls like a champ

i have a chip burned for it but i get a No start when i put it in..haven't had time to get ahold of ******** to fix. And yes 4:88s....even with the gearing it needs a chip..stock 7.3s are only so powerful...especially when the truck is 10k unloaded.

I thought the 99/00 F450s had 456 gears? Is it 488 because of 6 spd ?

Axle code says 4:88s and according to online data bases 450s were 4:10/4:30/4:56/4:88 options were 550s go up to 5:13s if im not mistaken. Definatley happy it has 4:88s with the 19.5s on it im at 2200 rpm at 65ish which gets me around 17 mpg on the highway..cant complain
