Brian Parker just bought a 199,000 mile 6.7 says I drives like a brand new truck. Its a dually and from the sounds of it its been hooked to a trailer a good amount of its life. I'll be interested to see how it works out for him.

For a 6.7 to have that many miles you would have to average about 66 mph and be in the truck 8 hours a day for the last there years. I just based that basically on a standard work year for hours. 2000 hours a year.

I find that story to be a lite far fetched but I guess its possible if he bought a 2011 in early 2010

Standard work year is 2080 hours and its not uncommon for guys to drive 10 - 14 hours a day as an owner operator.

Especially if you get paid by the mile.

My fathers 6.7 is his first truck he bought new that he hasn't traded in at 50k haha. He is actually planning to keep it awhile. Best powerstroke out of the box made in my opinion.

My dad is nearing 60K on his, ran hard since day one and no issues with it thus far! Says its the best truck he has ever owned and the first diesel he has ever purchased.

Def not saying its not plausable

I however do find it hard to believe someone could trust that to make money with day in and day out...?
