Ok has anyone drilled a new hole in their spring perch to relocate the axle?
I'm temped to do so after fighting my tires rubbing the back of front fender

and pinch weld.

Here is my post about getting the springs sorted out.

I broke down and bought some 20x10's wrapped in 295/60/20 Ridge Grapplers.
I thought going smaller than the 35's I had would clear. I was wrong.

I've done it on rear springs but not sure about safety on front. Hopefully someone with more experience with leaf springs will chime in.

I've seen these perches with different holes for adjustment. I just wondered if anyone has done it.

Thanks for chiming in.

What size rear block do you have?

One Up Offroads lift blocks and traction blocks allow for axle relocation and we can probably get you set up to solve your problem the safe way

DISREGARD

havent had my coffee yet, didnt realize you said front axle Lol

you could drill another hole in the spring pad like in the picture you posted that had the new weld on brackets

and make an offset top plate like PMF sells or buy the PMF unit ( so your still pulling everything together evenly )

the only risk i see is the potential to rotate the axle a bit but you Leafs are probably pretty flat

Change out the front end to an 05+ axle with coils and buy some OUO front adjustable link arms and move the front axle forward with them.

Just the improved turning radius is worth it to do it...

Here are some nice adjustable top plates for you...

Do they even have them out there. Thought everyone is California was too high class for decent coffee. Thought you all drank that coffee they make from monkeys chitting out the beans.

I take it you don't like the taste of Starbucks? Or is it the price?

Ok. I walk into Dunkin'. Tell them I want a large hot coffee, cream and sugar, total of 10 seconds of talking time including the formalities. It takes like 3 minutes just to order the dam coffee from Starbucks then I have to put my own cream and sugar in it. Just because they need to ask 20 questions on what to do with it.

Has anyone tried running something like what Zmann posted. Will it cause any problems. Looks like a simple solution, maybe too simple.

It's called a Turbo Shot. That's how I take mine. Large black with a turbo shot. In and out without all the silly Starbucks BS. Especially that prissy naming thing they do for their sizes. Makes me feel like the dude in Super Troopers. Just give me a damn liter of coffee before I come across the counter venti boy!
