Well you need the track bar brackets...to hold the track bar. The trusses are mainly for looks, axles don't bend due to big tires on them. If they do it would mainly be from someone catching too much air.

It's mainly for looks but it also raises the mounting point which helps with the angle of the track bar

Really? A track bar bracket holds the track bar? Amazing... Thank you for such an enlightened response...

And while big tires themselves don't bend axles, big tires, high negative offset wheels (much like those he plans to run), and hard use will bend axles. Ask a Jeep JK owner running 37"+ tires. The stock 44 isn't up to much abuse without bending (typically closer to the knuckle). I assumed the 60 on these trucks was well up to the task, but since he is trussing his front axle I thought I would ask him why.

But these trucks are waaayy heavier, that is a major difference. You asked what the deal was with the track bar brackets, didn't see another way to answer such a though out question. The insane offset of these wheels would destroy the wheel bearing way before an axle would bend.

Lol of course not. The powdercoater is really holding us up, of all the parts we have back so far none can go on the truck without parts he still has. Going to be close at this point.

What made you choose to paint all of those things over doing powder exactly? I was always under the impression you'd want to powder everything under the truck over painting...?

Powdercoating axles and some of those other parts gets expensive and a pain buying new seals and pulling the gears out etc. Besides that we were on a crunch for time and the Powdercoat guy is already behind.
