Erikclaw and gfulton did ya'll ever regear your truck? I am running 37s and was looking into regearing it.

No I haven't regeared it, want 3.73's in it.

And if no one noticed this motor ate itself during a trip for New Years. Rod bearings said FU

My math for regearing for 37s works out to 4.10s, which will be what I go with to make the same as 3.55s and the 31s my truck came with.

you truck came with 31" tires? mine has 34"

I want to lift my truck but I started figuring out I dont like the way this gearing jumps to 6th and lugs, I knew I would have to regear. Still haven't decided if I want to get that deep again, I spent too much on my excursion

When I had 37s, I just locked out 5th when it would lug. I liked my 3.55s and 37s honestly.

No I have not.I just lock out 6th gear.....My truck will be for sale on hear shortly, just turned 28,000 miles.......

I still use my 6th, I didn't with different tuning. Runs cooler and responds better when I went to *******. It tows great on 3.55's I lock out 6th then. Either 3.73's or 4.10's for mine some day
