Thanks Tadd. If it goes boom i will be calling you for turbos's. Text me prices on the stuff we were talking about last night Tadd.
Thanks everyone.

Damn! LOL You sound as bad a me! Blow it up! Just get new ones... Right on man, Hope she gets you where you wanna go. You have a time frame you are getting this running yet? I'll be at Truck Jam on the 20th. Hoping that my rig is done, and run around a bit.

Just going by Elite's website... Tow powers were suggested to use 60s, High powers were suggesting 85-110s. Max powers were 110-150s. I cant open their site from work, so I can't say for sure, but I would go out on a limb, and say that 175s for Tow Xs were not on their list of suggestions... LOL

Our nozzles are 6 hole instead of 8 hole also.. so we cant really compare. Tow Powers and our 60's with good tuning is a RIOT :)

Na, just put on new ones before they blow. LOL

Sounds like a cool build, quite a few on here lately. That fueling sounds like an issue, with my high powers 110's are a bit much. EGT's get high at the end of a 1/4 mile run. But my truck is like a bulldozer going down the road so that doesn't help either.

Erik! Nice to see you back around!

Hey, if nothing else, we serve a purpose.... Tried it..... didn't work out.... trying something else next... LOL

Mine are comparable in size to High Powers, and dual fuel and 110s are just about right. But I also changed to 35.5 tires and 4.10s. She is def not a lightweight, but not near the tires or height of Erik's.

I learned that from Dustin, going high on the injector size, and taper it with tuning, def works. But I was torn between 85s and 110s.... LOL 175s never entered my mind....

well.... they did... .but not until I put a third fan on there.... LOL

LOL I am thinking of a 591 sitting on the side..... S362/S475/S591.... Should be a good time... LOL

I def have to get the 450 done first though... 71mm has been occupying space on the shelf for months... and the trans fluid has 115,000 miles on it too... Gonna be hitting you up for a TC here in the next week or so.

Erik I know what your saying. I spent a lot of money on a 6.0L on parts that weren't even tested and I was being the tester. I want something that is reliable and only using these turbos as temporary as they were traded to me for a truck and they are brand knew. That is why this is the first stage of my build.

That makes sense to me, I have had some parts that were new to mkt I thought they would work and took the chance on them. I was curious since you knew you were going to go bigger why do this build. So, what does the 2nd stage consist of?? :D

What I want to know is how you ended up with a truck that doesn't have a manual transmission.

Chris

Lol Chris. I havent had a manual transmission in a truck since my 06. I do miss it and if you are hauling something all the time and over the road hauling the manual is still the only way to go IMO after having both.

Erik my next build later in the summer or early fall will either be Max Powers or triples. I have a spare 2010 6.4L motor sitting here at my shop that will get full rebuilt during the winter and i will see what is on the market next summer and decide form there what i am going to do.

Sounds good, an extra motor on hand is always a nice thing when building it. There will be some new info out on what you are considering pretty soon.
