What are your guys opinion on converting to hydro boost? You think in my application it would be worth it? Also back to the injectors. You think the 238/100 are a good choice?

I didn't read all your post just looked at the pictures. Did you do head studs on the engine? I saw that you will upgrade the turbo later. If you go with the 238/100 just detune to what you have now?

Thanks guys. I just got back from king of the hammers. I'm ordering the rear springs on Friday and a friend is getting me longer shock bottoms for the rear too. I should have a trans crossmember and transfer case in this weekend.

Well I hope the rear springs aren't to stiff. They're in and with the adjusters all the way down it showing 12" of shock dammit.
I built a quick crossmember and installed the transfer case.
It just so happens that the stock superduty front driveline (1350cv) bolted in the rear and the front stock driveline works too.

It just clears the front shaft.

I've been seriously lagging. I've had a few other projects to do. I bought a '04 ram 2500 cclb for 1000$ and had to put a motor in it. I had to buy my wife a new car too. So now those are done now it just time and little things. I managed to put the wiring harness in this weekend and make a couple mounts for the intercooler. September should bring time and cooler weather allowing me to hopefully get it completed.

It's been awhile. I traded that pos dodge for a 94 f-350 idi dually. Crewcab long bed roll along grandpa cruiser. I've moved recently too.
I did mange to play with the drive lines recently and through 23" wheel travel it has 1.5" of plunge. Not bad. Also got the superduty intercooler installed.

Built the boost tubes today. Learned a little trick of using wire crimpers to make a bead on the ends.

I ended up trimming them to allow it to work even better. Great for someone who builds boost tubes, coolant lines, ect at times.

On the custom crimpers. I need to do this to some aluminum pipes. Have you tried these pipes after putting that bead on them?? If so any leakage. I was tempted to leave my pipes smooth, but if this works good I'm doing it!! Thanks for that tid bit.

Why would they leak? They seal on the flat surface on the other side of the bead. The bead just keeps it from slipping off. I did the alumn piping in my car 2 years ago but it only sees 18psi.

Thanks. I've been trying to figure out how to squeeze a 4" intake tube in there. I found a piece of dryer vent that was 4" to give me a idea of what bends I need to buy and the clearances I'll have.
