Looks great!

Just a heads up...... I wouldn't upgrade to 50w ballasts. You'll burn the bowls on the Minis in no time.

Really well hell maybe just order a quality hid kit than

I wouldn't go that far. What temp bulbs are you using again?

Lots of guys have tried to run 50w ballasts with the Mini H1s but the bowls are much smaller than a D2S bowl and the heat peels the finish in no time. They'll be toast within a few months and then your output will really go down the drain.

Any output pics?

First time hearing about that problem using 55w. I have ran 55w in mini h1s with no problems and know a lot of others that did the same. But they do get hot as **** so I could see it happening. Stuck with 35w this time and imo it's plenty of output

Mini H1s or Mini D2S? It's not a problem for the D2S but I've seen several pics of ruined bowls with H1s on boosted ballasts. No personal experiences..... just what I've seen on HID Planet.

And you're right..... 35w with good temp bulbs (somewhere between 4300k and 5000k) is plenty bright. Even better with OEM bulbs if you're using D2S projectors.

I ran 55w on mini h1s for about a year on my last truck. Currently using mini d2s with 35w now. But if that's the case I would just stuck with 35w and not chance it. I know ddm is a lot dimmer than a other kits. My 35w morimoto kit now burns just as hot or hotter than my old 55w ddm kit

You could try some better bulbs..... it'll probably help if you have cheap bulbs now. If the DDM ballasts are working I would use them until they die. Then get you some Morimoto ballasts. The good thing about them is if you ever change to a D2S projector all you have to swap is the igniter.

4500k is going to be warm white and 5500k is going to be pure white. The 5500k XB35 is the best aftermarker bulb TRS has.
