YThe 5500k XB35 is the best aftermarker bulb TRS has.

These are what I've always run and they are worth the money. Note although they say 35W, there is no 55W bulb. They can be pushed with a 55w ballast - mine is simply waiting for me to swap out the densos and in the morimotos no problem and will be far, far brighter. The only cost is most likely a little loss of bulb life.

That's what I would normally suggest but he's using H1 projectors that require H1 bulbs. CBIs are only D2S because they're OEM.

I did the h1s just cuz everything was cheaper maybe il do another set or swap out the h1s for the better d2s ! Just didn't want to spend a ton of money in the whole project and mess it up ! I'm about 250 in this whole project is all

I bet if you put in better bulbs like we talked about you'll be happy. That'll be cheaper and easier than installing new projectors.

Mini H1s or Mini D2S? It's not a problem for the D2S but I've seen several pics of ruined bowls with H1s on boosted ballasts. No personal experiences..... just what I've seen on HID Planet.

And you're right..... 35w with good temp bulbs (somewhere between 4300k and 5000k) is plenty bright. Even better with OEM bulbs if you're using D2S projectors.

I honestly don't see where the D2S is much better than the h1s. I actually like the cut off better with the h1s. Get some better bulbs and ballasts and you'll be fine

well iordered the nw bubls since I ended up woth the wrong ones and somehow go them to fit lol !! il post pics of cut off and all that once there here and I get em installed and all that
