A 2 or 3 piece wheel from a company with TUV certs will be as strong or stronger than a 1 piece wheel. Fuel probably doesn't have that cert as very few places do but hopefully they still put some effort into their stuff.

What are these tuv certs you mention? Just curios to know

It covers a lot of stuff but when it comes to selling wheels in some European countries it's a necessity and ensures the wheels are the best they can be. It's boring reading but there's lots of stuff on Google. HRE has some stuff on their site that breaks it down nicely. If it was a requirement here about 3/4 of the wheel companies out here would be out of business instantly.

Well since there wasn't any available the factory said their only option was to send it back to them for repair. Being my truck was on the lift at Ford and shipping back and forth to the factory would be 2 weeks I decided to take it apart and repair it. The lips inside looked good, had to remove all the broken bolts and repair the threads. I installed all new hardened bolts and used Loctite on them. The factory bolts were not hardened. This wheel was only 6months old and had been running on the front for 6K miles and just rotated to the rear, so I know overload was not a problem. Now I'm worried about the other 3.

That's crazy and makes me feel sketchy about my Mavericks. I have no problems in the 3 &1/2 years I've had mine though. Knock on wood

If they are the ones in your avatar they are the one piece mavericks.

Black and machined or chrome are one piece.
Black and chrome are two piece.

You may look on their website to clarify. They are D261 model. They are 2-piece

My bad. I didn't realize they made a 2 piece black and machined version. What size are your wheels? It looks like they only make them in a few limited sizes.

Mine are definitely the two piece version..... D537.
