Hey guys,

I bought a mityvac glow plug compression adapter & gauge and it does not want to thread into the glow plug holes. The adapter seems to be a little too thick so I can't get the proper angle. I spent about 2 hours trying to get it to thread, I was able to get it to thread into one cylinder and successfully test that cylinder.
I'm not sure if these chromoly push rods are thicker than stock, which may be causing troubles?

What other compression adapter will work? I don't have the time to build an adapter!

Thanks so much,

Andrew

M10 ORB fitting, grease whip.

That may work fine but building an adapter is a last resort. I would much prefer to just buy one and be done.

I had a local hydraulic shop build me an adapter. The fitting they made blew off. Then I bought the mityvac adapter and it doesn't seem to fit. I just want a turn key adapter.

It's just threading some parts together. M10 ORB x 1/8 FPT, 12" grease whip (1/8 MPT each end), and a pipe connector to adapt to your compression tester.

Like $25 all in.

Went ahead and sourced all the parts for building my own with a grease whip compression adapter, since no one makes a good adapter. With shipping and tax it came to a grand total of $39.12.
