I hear ya, I just thought I'd try something different. I actually got the idea from the Strictly Diesel street truck build.

I just went and looked at his thread and was actually suprised and liked it on his truck.
I dont know if its the red or his headlights not painted or what but seems to work on his truck.
I like the stock grille with the surround painted, even if its a common look.
