Mine is setting at 320K and still running strong. At 200 the cylinders will still show crosshatching. Bet it is injectors worst case. You can pick up a set of injectors pretty cheap. I got a chip I could sell you, throw a 6637 filter, a chip with some mild tunes and let her rock and roll. It would make your parents a great tow rig.

I might take you up on the chip.

How much are injectors?

Ok looks like the best they will do for me is 3k...

Here are some pictures. The bed has a hole in the left rear and some rust. Rest of the truck has dents and dings... Not sure what to think at this point.

Air filter housing is broken... Might get an oil.sample to see if the engine is dusted...
Ran ok seams smooth... It's a turd... Not sure if I am just spoiled with my 6.7 or if the truck just doesn't run that well.

Front bumper is dented, grill is cracked. Interior is what you would expect for a 99, mileage is 212k, Trans seams to shift ok.

well maybe the engine has been replaced it had the bigger turbo, but that doesnt mean anything, i forgot to look at the door sticker for build date.

I was going to pull the compressor inlet but didnt have my tools, im going back to take a sample and check that maybe tomorrow

This isn't always true, I have a close friend with the same badges on the front fender and his is a late 99.

i wouldn't bat an eye at a 7.3 with 300k on it as long as it starts and runs smooth and shifts good... if its been bone stock all its life, she has a couple hundred thousand left in her... new stock sd pump, hpop, and hell a set of stock remans and shes good as new.. thats if the turbo and compression is good too... as far as the early or late 99 goes that wont matter one bit either.... check the intake plenums for size and i believe it will have a 1.15 non gated housing on it if its a early 99, but i could be wrong. as long as every thing is good engine wise its still worth the 3k even with needed body work.

live life full throttle

LOL It should be slow compared to your 6.7L.. We are talking about 165 HP less in the 7.3. That is why us poor 7.3 guys put sticks in so we can compare for power.. We just lack the sophistication!!

The mile would not scare me. What you find with the oil could.. Does it have much blowby??

$3k and its a 4x4 diesel..... Bumpers are fairly easy to find depending on the area, beds seem to be easy to find but cheap ones are harder to find.

But yes you are spoiled by your 6.7 LOL
