I personally like the o-ring just because. But yes I know both will work,o-ring seems to be easier to work with if needed to. Just my opinion .
Most times I agree with the o-ring, with the plenums I think even if there was an o-ring, I would not feel comfortable unless I put some Grey Death in there.
I've hit mine with 55# boost now for 12k..
I can peg my 60 lb gauge with an H2E also. Course, Tony has never been accused of being easy on the fuel.
Maybe you guys have bigger turbos than I do. I do not have an H2e, I have a Pius LASB from Jake@Irate. Its a s300 framed charger whith whatever mods Pius did and I believe it uses the QSSB wheel. I think its like 76.2/68 wheel.
Supposed to be pushing around 50psi but optimal to keep it at 45 or under from what I'm told. Maybe I need a bigger turbo so I can keep up with with you guysLOL
That's some nice boost though, that's got to make a big difference over what I have
ThanksJust because they are making that kind of boost doesn't mean too much in terms of power. You can make over 500hp with 35-40psi boost pretty easily..
I imagine at their level, something is at high riskboost=$hit breaks.
I'm trying to reduce as much restriction as possible.
Boost does not equal HP... Was not showning that to prove anything other then the O-ring works great! Much better design and function.
Agreed...except for 2 things...
1) the resrictive metal at the bottom of the inlet..
2) the mass around the intake to allow for a lttle more of the sealant
we corrected both "flaws"...if we didn't make'em we would push Clay's
I know it's picky but we took it that much further

Parts are rolling in. Thanks!
