Hi everyone. I'm currently rebuilding a 6.0 motor i bought off a guy who lost interest in the build. The motor was completely bare from the pistons up. I just got the heads back and the motor getting cleaned up. The heads a in good shape and cylinders are really smooth. I'm looking to get a complete gasket set but it seems the only real options are offered from sinister diesel. You can buy the house brand or a Mahle kit. I've been told to only use OEM head gaskets but from everything I've read the Mahle kit is just as reliable. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these kits and are the reliable enough to invest in. To answer any usage questions. I don't plan on making it a high horse power truck, it will mostly be a daily driver with occasional towing of a 36' camper.
