I finally had the chance to pick up another dually. Not exactly sure what direction I'll go with this one yet. Gave it its first bath (didn't want the dealer detailing it) removed the door emblems, tinted the windows and painted the fender emblems. Big decision is wether to go Forces or Fuel's.

Here's my last Dually I built in '13

24" AF Liberty's with machined windows and 38" Trail grapplers.

I really like some of the Fuel drw stuff, and they have more options for a single wheel front set up than AF does, just not sure I want to go that route yet.

AF'S "scope" has caught my attention for the normal 10 lug set up.

I remember your old truck. Looks to me that you know what your doing lol Im waiting on 24" forgiatos for my 450. I went with them because not many people have them. My next choice would be the FUEL dually wheels. They have some real nice ones but for the price I just couldn't justify it seeing how they have steel inners. I went with nitro terra grapplers for tires this time.

I like the fuel dually's having a solid inner so I don't have my ocd going ape **** over the inners not being as clean as the outers.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going with an 8" (like my old one)but using Full Throttle Suspension this go around. Their c/overs with resi' and a 2.0 with resi in the stock location, rear block with their traction bars and 2.0 with resi's. ******* will be getting a call also.

I'm pretty impressed with how this one runs. Now that I've put a couple hundred miles on it and towed 12K Monday afternoon, it's got a lot better feel than my 14 single wheel did when stock. The 3.73's def help vs the 3.55's.

Don't *** up a good truck with using their traction bars. That contraption has shltty idea wrote all over it.

Go with OUO traction block setup and have something that performs and looks 10x better.

I think you are referring to the gumed up Full Flex designed traction bars like Mcgauhy's uses. Full throttle's are directly bolted to the frame and use a saddle mount on the axle end.

Finally got a few parts on and some more hitting the door. I installed some Recon smoked cab light lenses and some Pilot 5 chip led's. Also swapped out the cargo lights with 9 chip led's and the license plate lights. I also put some 9 chip led's in the dome lights. So far so good and they are bright, but we'll see how they hold up over time. I tried to put some badass looking 5050, 15 chip bulbs in the tail lights, but no dice. Even with a resistor, the parking lights and what not would all come with every tap of the brake pedal, pretty sure the bulbs are messed up internal so I'm going to swap those out. The real fun was the big box that showed up from Rudy's diesel. Waiting on the SCT to show up so the real fun can begin.

I like the direction of the last dually, minus the huge sail of a light bar on the top. I haven't accepted the lightbar trend so that's just me.. I do however like the "hidden" lights on the front of the truck.

Where you get the LEDS from?

Sub'd can't wait to see what you do.

Did you decide on some wheels yet?

Thanks. Not exactly. They will be 10 lug, but probably not from AF. I just can't get around how much more b.a the 10 lugs look than a direct bolt on.

I got hooked up with Specialty Forged (my shop is a dealer) and hit him up about building a set. He already has some in the works and is hoping to release them at Sema. We'll see what styles he has and go from there, but I'm 99% I'll end up with his just because they'll be different.

Thanks. I'm over the light bars also. That truck was meant to be over the top, we still install so many and I'm over it. I might do a pair of curved 40's in the bumper or just a pair of them behind a mesh grille.

Went in early this morning and knocked out the exhaust and SCT install. Drove around a few times today and love it. Drive ability is awesome, plenty of power all over, very little smoke and shifts great! It does seem to hang the rpms some when getting off the throttle though. I've got the enclosed strapped to it (32'-6,400 lbs empty) and going to eastern OK to pick up a new lift for the shop. We'll see how it does. Thanks to Rudy's and PIP for getting me the correct ECU strategy in a matter of hours.
