I run a 35" spare with a banks 4" exhaust. I had to push the tail pipe over some but it fits good. I had to push the rubber hanger mount over the stop. I can get a pic of you want.

I think I get what your talking about, but a pic might move this thread back towards a hetero direction. How much clearance do you have between the pipe and tire?
