Hey guys, long time cummins guy, about to make the change over to a 6.0 powerstroke. Found a truck I like made a deal with the dealer that as long as it checks out at the Ford dealer i'll be picking it up tuesday.

It's a 2003 Standard Cab 6.0 Powerstroke 170k miles.

What do you guys think? Seemed to drive pretty nice, tires rub and a little rust on under the door and a bubble on the fender, other than that seems to be nice. oh and the doors lock when you start the truck?

Heres my other two trucks.

My 400hp 24v - Truck was fast but nothing but problems

and the truck I miss alot but can't find again. My old 12v truck

Are you in KY or WV? Might have to take the truck to you if I end up getting it, it's been modified (looks like small lift, gauges, tires, exhaust) other than that that's all I know I'm taking it to a Ford dealer Tuesday to have a diesel Diagnostic done and if it checks out I'll buy it.

Any advice on anything else to look for Tuesday before I buy it? The only thing it has messed up is the doors lock when you start the truck? and the factory radio works but no lights on it...and the hood latch, other than that seems solid and a good deal.

Well didn't get the truck ford said it needed a new oil cooler a #5 injector and a new film but guy would only come off it 500 more so no deal. Everyone around here must think diesels are lined with gold with how much theyre asking.
