New Guy in New Mexico

Hi everyone, I'm Stephen. I joined the forum since I'm getting ready to buy a new truck (and my first diesel). Currently I have a Toyota Tacoma which is a great small truck.... but it is a SMALL truck. Joined this forum ahead of buying my powerstroke so I could make an informed decision on which year to buy.

I look forward to mostly lurking and trying to learn from everyone

Welcome! Plenty of good info and helpful folks in all the camps.... honestly I wouldn't say any are "better" than the rest since it depends on your priorities and what you're looking to use the truck for. Let us know what you end up getting.

Tha'ts a good point. I am looking for something that will be good at trailer hauling (open car trailer) and hauling material for jobsites. Because of that I am leaning more towards the 6.7 Previously it was the 6.4, but I do not care about big numbers or 1/4 mile times. just comfort, and MPG really. Looks like I'm meeting with some friends Thursday to check out a couple options

E99 F350/zf6/guages/arp/comp/stellite/ billet wheel/ bellowed... Need more fuel and more air.

I got a 2015 platinum as they have all the new upgrades, not sure your price range but you can find some good deals on 2011-14s too
