I used to have gauges but I prefer monitor now.
I have both the Mini Maxx and the DashDaq mounted in my truck..
The mini maxx is nice for some basic gauges and the DashDaq has like 300-400 sensors you can watch.

For basic towing I was just using Mini Maxx to watch EGTs, backpressure, coolant and oil.
