Im a new member to PSA, but I've been a long time reader. This is my first thread, and I will dedicate it to a good question that I've had run through my head many times. I drive a 2006 F250 RWD. I will be purchasing some 20x10 moto metals, and I really like nitto 420s. I was hoping to be able to run the 285/50/20s or the 305/50/20. I have done some extensive research on which size will fit without a leveling kit... And I have seen some people say 285/50 will fit without rub, but I am wondering if the weight rating will be safe enough. The 305/50 are a good rating, but I dont know if hey will fit a 10 wide rim with no rubbing on 2wd stock suspension. :ford:

That's completely dependent on the wheel backspace. I've run a 22x10 with a 305/45 and 305/40 on a 2wd with a 3" drop and zero rubbing. That was a zero offset wheel and didn't stick out at all.

Thank you for replying. I was starting to think that my post was a waste. The wheel offset is -24. I want to do the 305/50 for the weight ratings, but the 285/50 tempt me with guaranteed no rubbing.

I went ahead and bought the 305/50s. They should be here in a week or so. I'll post a photo when they arrive. Minor trimming is expected but I needed the weight ratings.
