Welcome!
I have a 78 f100 351w afr heads, pretty stout for a old truck. I love the old fords, yours will be cool with the 7.3 good luck.

I have been many miles in a 66 tempest, my best friend in school had one it was beautiful. He traded it back to his dad after he finished school and its still setting in the shop.

Thanks guys, its my first truck and i want to use it to tow my mustangs. So i hope to save enough in the army as i have no bills to pay at all to get it done.... my main issue right now is should i have a shop do it or do it myself like i plan to?

welcome nice looking truck. as far as the shop thing goes its up to you, shop=lots of $, you = lots of time, I would find a complete running donor truck for the swap as you will need the harness and lots of little stuff you never thought of. Looking forward to the build
