well, parts are off to paint for the exterior, should be back early next week, and the exterior body work should be complete. Well then turn the attention to the interior, and exterior lettering and detailing.
I kinda wondered what you didnt like about the duplicolor dye. The panels you showed looked real good I thought.
I like everything youve done. Not that my opinion matters but I wanna see an ex with a ptm front clip like the white 6.4 in those pics you posted. Again not a jab just something ive yet to see.
Gotcha. Im shocked about the duplicolor.
I didnt mean the way you applied the 6.7 frontend. It looks excellent. I meant actually see an excursion with the ptm 6.4 frontend.
Ok. Cool. I really like the lariat style woods when seen next to black. It changes the cheesy look of the woodgrain and makes it look good.
I was on the phone with color bond yesterday. The guy said you need to use their BDI cleaner/prep then adhesion promoter and then the dye for good results on interior plastics. Something about the oils in the plastic. He said soap and water can work for cleaning but you have to use adhesion promoter no matter what. I just dyed some of my interior (leather 6 passenger conversion) so I'm glad I talked to them before I did the rest.always like constructive criticism, were trying to mimic how ford would have built it which is why were going with the front end they way we have it lined up. As far as the duplicolor, the panels came out great, just didn't have much longevity. I started spraying the panels with color bond last week, so I want to see how the color compares. well go from there .

it definitely does, unfortunately that long gone now, we have the Harley trim going on the excursion panels, this way we can keep the seat memory.
