Hi All,
New to the forum so I'm doing my "get to know you" post. I live in Northern Nevada and my everyday driver (well, almost as my employer provides a take home vehicle) is a 1997 OBS F350 crew cab with a Powerstroke. I purchased the OBS in February after selling my 1989 Mustang LX 5.0. I Owned the 5.0 for 19 years and it was mostly a weekend driver/project vehicle.
I was missing the project vehicle and needed a bigger truck so the OBS with 7.3 fit the bill. I have made some updates and upgrades as well as a few needed repairs since February. The truck is in pretty decent shape and had 199k when I bought it. No lift, no goose neck, no fifth wheel, no engine mods with the exception of 4-inch straight exhaust. The OEM down pipe still exists to my dismay but that will soon be changing.
