Just bought a 2006 rcsb dually.

Going to be doing exh int and tuner with ficm tune.

Not looking for much power (got my 7.3 for that), wondering what else I should do.

Coolant filter, egr delete. What else?

Will be doing the headstuds soon, but I'm not totally sold on them if I'm near 400 HP.

Thoughts on the studs and what else I should do while I'm in there?

No it's a low mileage ish 110k mi dark grey from Nebraska. Already tinted. (No rust)

I'm from Detroit but I will never buy another rust belt vehicle.

Got my 1996 7.3 in northern Colorado and not a spec of rust on that either. But that's a garage queen.

Ill post a pic tonight. It's beautiful.

youll be near it. My buddy has an 03 on 37s that hit 387 @ 715 at the world finals. Being down low I would bet a little more. He was just running the extreme x tune too. No Ficm tuning.

Picking it up in a few days.
Getting a fresh oil and trans fluid service as well.
Having to fly into Omaha then drive it to Detroit.

Anyone have any worthwhile gains using the batmowheel with stock turbo on the 06?

With the 6.0 is it possible to do studs in the cab? Time is not the issue just want it to hold.

How do the hpops hold up on these trucks? I will be installing gauges- fuel psi, hpop, pyro, trans.

You can do them in cab, but if its you're first time, and you haven't done anything this invasive on a motor before, I recommend you take it somewhere to be done.
