those flares look sweet-which ones are they?
These are Bushwacker Street Flares. Be careful and read the reviews, most flares stick out a long ways. I got mine off Amazon. I have prime free shipping and I think they were around $350-$375 a set all in. They are sweet, fit and match perfect. This is coming from a non -flare fan.
Truck looks great man. How do you like the new lift setup does it ride any better than the old setup. An how is the led bar at night been wanting to do almost everything you done to your truck to mine lol.
Thanks sir! :fordoval: Ride is night and day.The fabtech and Bilsteins are a hell of a combination. It's like a whole new truck I am telling you. Big lifts are for the birds, not for me. Maybe the lift I bought my truck with was just Rough Country or a cheaper brand but either way I will never want a lifted diesel again. Takes away fuel mileage and functionality of a every day working/daily driver. Hard to pull trailers or lift stuff up in the back on top of that. My 3.5" lift is closer to 4" I am sticking up a little over a stock 2008 F350 I park beside at work. Love the new set up.:ford:
Oh- I also bought the lightbar off Amazon. One of the best decision I made. Some vendors are asking $300 or more, I purchased for a 1/5 of that cost. I am hoping it will last a lifetime of the truck. It is super bright, its a dual light bar. It is great for off road, camping or flashing that "know it all" who goes to flash their brights on you b/c your running HID's and they are just that bright people. The light bar will scare sh*t out of people when you light it up. Mine is set up to my stock Fog light switch, make it very factory. No weird switches in the cab. Nice and clean install.
Good luck on your build and save $$$. I have around $3,000 in parts. But-I did buy a CTS monitor, Adapter pyro, ARP headstuds, and bed cover. That is not including my wheels/tires. Hardest parts to find for me were the front end- header panel, front bumper-all three pieces, bumper brackets from 05-07. Post a thread when you do yours. This is my 2nd truck to do the swap on. Last one was my 2000 7.3L. At least my new truck here came with the 05 Harley headlights.
Thanks sir, a lot of money in parts, paint and labor. My first red truck and my first purchase of Fuel wheels. But- well worth it. Next up is installing my heads studs and getting some tunes. I might add the coolant filter and 5" Flo pro or MBRP exhaust w/ black tip. Keep the motor relatively stock for now. That is until after my check book recovers and I get married in a few months.
Oh- I will be painting the frame and undercarriage with some chassis paint soon. Waiting for it to stop raining and for me to have a free weekend day to get it done.
