Since I know a big FA about nitrous systems, I would like to know what the fellas out there think about the systems they are running, and if there would be anything they would change about the system.

Too many systems on the market, but I kinda like the idea of a "Progressive" systems.

I'm not trying to ask for your racing secrets, but if you could share a little bit about the system your using, what you like about it, and what you don't...that would be great.

I would like to add a stage between the chargers to cool the compressed air going into the secondary, and maybe another one right at the elbow.

Discuss.:)

I'd like to learn a little about nitrous too. Just got my first water/meth kit for towing, but it would be cool to have a little NO2 on the dyno and at the track.

I loved my NOS Launcher system, basically the same as the Nitrous Express progressive kit. The use of the in-cab touch screen or your laptop makes it super easy to setup mapping for the nitrous. Being able to ramp in spray over time as boost or rpms comes up is pretty sweet.

If you just use the spray on the track, is there any real advantage to the progressive system?

Progressive systems are good for spooling up a large charger. And to keep parts alive. You can.use a small shot on the Line then once boost rises it will ramp up to a full capacity.

Ivan, wouldnt it be better to go air water between stages from.a cost standpoint? Then use your nitrous in a traditional way.

Thought about that too, as one could prolly fit right off the discharge of the primary...just cut out a short section of pipe, and attach it.

All the nitrous really does is cool the charge air and force more oxygen into the engine, correct?

So at what point does it become detrimental to your engine? I've always wanted to try it, but have heard horror stories about it. Also heard guys say they run 100's of bottles through their trucks with no issue. I'd like to learn as much as possible on this since it you guys seem to have a pretty good handle on it.

from what ive read it doesnt realy become bad for diesel just if you run to big of a shot it will start to slow you down because there so much air it puts the fire out. what ive been told is you keep bumping the jet size up tell you go slower than go back one.
