Ok, so what would be recommended for a guy who would like to spray every once in a while on a dyno and at the track in a truck with stock -155 injectors and a 64.7x88 VGT turbo. The truck holds 30psi at WOT and has water/meth. Or would I be better to just mix a slightly higher concentration of meth and no worry about the nitrous?

ahhhh the beauty of a progressive controller......

1st Stage

2nd Stage

I have the Nitrous Express controller and love it, I use the "time based" for the drag strip and "boost based" on the dyno. Just mash the throttle and let the controller do all the work....no buttons to push.

Why use two stages that look like there characteristics are very similar?? Two different sized nozzles?

I am very new to nitrous so figured i would asked.

I checked my prices. Fir a nxd4000 progressive kit with a 10 or 15lb bottle was $750 even. That was from nitrous express

mine is simple. one solenoid on a switch on the pedal and one on a button.

That's what I do. Nice and simple. I've been using TS's system. I just set the first jet as high as I can with still getting traction and the second jet to clean up the rest of the fuel.

Ok so the switch on the peddle.... I'm assuming the peddle has to be on the floor and then you hit the button to activate the second shot? I don't think the progressive controller would be worth it to me, but a simple button setup would be nice. I don't know about two stages though, I was thinking just a small shot on a button. I've got a lot to learn.

yeah On the ranger it has a micro switch for the first stage. On my Superduty im running a ZEX controller that you hook up to the TPS wire and program it to WOT. Its pretty easy.

So on your Superduty, it's a single stage system that will spray continuously as long as the system is armed and the peddle is on the floor? I have just always seen the button type controllers, like on the mustang in Gone in 60seconds. I would imagine you would only want spray while under WOT correct? Can you use NO2 under partial throttle or would it even be helpful?

yes that is correct. the WOT switch and the button are really the same thing. Only thing different is your foot pushes the button not your finger.

Well i have are local pulls coming up, and we can run nitrous. So i ordered a 0.84 nitrous jet a also ordered a a hand grip style push button and I'll use a toggle for a on/off swtich. I've never used nitrous before any suggestions about anything should I get a new tune? When do i hit the button and let off?
