The truck saw 40 psi at least 5 times a day, for 7 days a week for a year and a half. Probably 30 or more truck pulls, one of which while I was attempting to shift from 2nd to D, I accidently went to neutral. And not thinking clearly, I immediately slammed it back into D with the accelerator to the floor. I also drive with a tc lock up switch just about every stop and go. So it shifted with the tc locked up most of the time. It has seen probably 30 or so passes on the track as well.

And I'm hoping to go back with billet parts this time Dom. Not sure exactly what yet, as we will have to see about cost. Being a college kid sucks. Big time.

that is freekin awesome... glad to hear feedback on another trans.. even though i think it is the only feedback ive heard from a twisted trans but sounds like a twisted stage 2 would be the perfect upgrade for a guy who only tows with his truck at near stock levels.

whats the warranty on one?

It sounds like it would.handle quite a bit more than that!! He.beat the crap out of that thing! Which is good for.testing durability.

Jesus! I wouldn't dream of putting my ATS through that and expecting it to hold up lol.

And I hear ya loud and clear on the college kid.... Im trying to do a paint job thats half ass turning into a restoration on a college budget

MY trans was just fixed again under shops warranty. HAd a converter go but also the CENTER CARRIER...this aluminum piece fails all the time. After my research my trans guy talked to his supply company and found out that they had a $360 one piece billet steel piece that also has a bearing instead of a bushing.

The warranty on the stage II trans that I have is 2 year or 100k miles.

I dropped the truck off monday, and they said it would be covered 100% under warranty. I still haven't heard back but I told them not to be in a hurry, as I don't need the truck. I will let everyone know as soon as I do.

Well I dropped the truck off Monday at Twisted Diesel, and they called me today, and said the overdrive planetary had grenaded. But somehow it had wedged itself in place, allowing it to still drive just with no OD.

They have ordered the parts and are standing behind it 110%.

So, this is a good trans for this.setup? Whats the stg II twisted rated for?

600 Hp I believe is what Buddy told me. I hope with the new setup Im pushing that. We will see when they get it back together. Its going to the track.

I put 200% nozzles on my injectors, and the new Wicked Wheel for the 38R. Also did head studs, valve springs and pushrods. I think its making more power.
