Noise with cap off

Suppose to be ******** my truck next week after I get through some warranty work. I just happened to be paying extra attention to the truck lately, when the oil cap is off you can hear metallic clanking noises, I’m assuming it’s the rocker arms and such, it’s not super loud but with the cap off you can definitely hear it. I want to say it’s normal but just figured it didn’t hurt to double check.

Think it’s his ‘16. Mines not loud but hopefully this LE oil switch will quiet it down some.

2016, I’m running LE 8854 absolutely no complaints Jim has been fanatic.. I figured it was normal but doesn’t hurt to double check. I’m fortunate and haven’t developed the type writer tick, 33000 on the clock.
