I like this thread. But 1200$ for an obs d60 makes it difficult. I'd almost rather go to super duty axles because of it.

holy ****. Cheapest I EVER saw was one Jim Rose was selling for 650$.Just gotta find the right deals..... I paid $250 for a d60 a few years ago.

i saw a dually d-60 in the yard up the street from me.. i can grab the dually adapters off it if yud like, can do it till wed or sat... and then i can ship them up to you
never seen one in person b4.. what will i need to remove... wrenches and sockets? they just bolt on the lugs right.. so u will need adapters and nuts to attach to studs?

So are people converting 2wd duallys to 4wd or converting 4wd srw trucks to duallys? I've thought about converting my super cab but can't decide between flat bed or factory dually bed.
Far easier to take a 4x4 SRW & swap the rear axle & bed than it is to convert a 2wd OBS to 4x4.
Yes, far easier but was curious which route everyone was going.....also, what did the conversion companies use?
