obs knuckles and hubs on an sd axle

Got my hands on a solid front from a 99. Im wanting to use obs knuckles to retain 8x6.5 lug pattern and my dually hubs. Will obs knuckles fit on a sd axle ive searched and found yes and no anyone done it?

I think your going have to do something with the axles or at least with the outer shaft, but I'm not sure.

Notenoughsmoke did this on his 89 project. SD axle with OBS knuckles and hubs. Don't remember there being any issue.
